Girls Hips Tattoos

Girls Hips Tattoos

Where is the hip tattooed? Well this one seems pretty obvious for most people. The hip tis where the leg bone connects to the rest of the body in what is called a ball and socket joint. For all intensive purpose the hip is the bony part of the femur that sticks out as it connects to inside of the hip bone.

Many women choose to get a tattoo in the hip region, probably because this is considered a very sexy area on women. It is one of the places on a female body that is both sensual and easy to cover up if needed. They are also more likely to be able to display a tattoo on their hip; men don't often wear bikinis or low cut pants. Among tattoos for women, this area is considered to be one of the most attractive and sensual.

The hip is a relatively small area, as parts of the body go, so getting a tattoo here means that you'll either have to have a large tattoo that extends to other parts of your leg or torso, or you'll have to get a small image. Since there is very little muscle and fat available to cover this bony area, getting hip tattoos can cause a certain amount of pain due to the feel of the needle pressing on the nerves and bone. Be prepared to feel this tattoo more than you would feel a tat in the arm or the rest of the leg.
